At Mint HR, your caring HR Consultancy in Yorkshire, we love to do our bit for the community. Our CSR is very important to us all, so every month we do our bit to give back, be it taking time out of the business to volunteer or supporting worthy causes on social media.

Tracy Carpenter HR Consultant and Business Owner

Tracy is a force to be reckoned with in the HR world, so it made total sense for her to start her own HR Consultancy back in 2016. Tracy had already earned her stripes after 20 years in the industry so launching her own HR business was the icing on the cake and meant she could look after her clients the way she wanted to. This also means, that you’ve got Tracy in your corner, when things may get a little sticky in your own business.

Not your usual business owner – music and dance is what it’s all about for Tracy. She’s been a tap dancer for years and has recently performed in her first show. She can also be found raving in a festival field in the summer or singing/screaming at the top of her voice at a gig.

Kate Horton PA and Office Manager

Kate has been Tracy’s Personal Assistant and Mint’s Office Manager since 2020.

As well as booking meetings and helping to manage Tracy’s calendar, Kate oversees Mint’s marketing strategy, the onboarding of new clients, invoicing and bill paying, internal systems, charity sponsorships, our quarterly newsletter and – most importantly – organises Team Mint’s social events!

A former television producer, Kate now just enjoys watching the telly – especially Strictly, The Traitors and Taskmaster.

She’s a busy dance mum and loves a night out at the theatre to watch everything from musicals to stand up comedy.

Emma Hartley HR Consultant

With over a decade of experience in the sector, Emma has seen and done it all when it comes to HR – and comes to Mint having been the HR Manager for a busy, West Yorkshire business.

Emma loves helping companies create happier, healthier and more productive workplaces and believes that good HR is all about understanding people and supporting them to do their best.

Outside of work, she’s usually in the kitchen cooking up something new, spending time with family or planning her next travel adventure. So far she’s travelled to Kenya, Vietnam, India, Europe, and the US and always comes back inspired by the people, food, and cultures she’s experienced.

Michelle – HR Administrator

Michelle brings precision and a love for all things structured to her role working with Tracy and Emma supporting Mint’s clients. She’s super-organised and loves a good spreadsheet – the more formulas, the better!

Outside of work, Michelle is a book lover, nature walker, and brunch connoisseur. When she’s not chasing after her two VERY energetic little ones, you’ll find her curled up with a good novel or scouting out the next best spot for a bottomless brunch.

Ellie – Security

Perhaps the most energetic member of the team, if you need someone to chew your slippers Ellie’s the girl for the job. Her duties include eating sausages, pestering squirrels, leaping at visitors, and keeping a careful eye on the sofa. With over a year’s experience She’s also learning to type and file in preparation for taking a CIPD qualification.
